QUALIFICATIONS:  Knowledge of the standard practices, methods, tools, and equipment of the trade.  Working knowledge of the principles of internal combustion engines.  Skill in the operation of simple equipment employed to motor repairs.  Skill in locating and adjusting defects in motorized equipment.  Ability to understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions.  Must have sufficient automotive mechanical experience to pass the required maintenance test and must have a valid driver’s license or appropriate commercial drivers license, if required by law.
