NOTICE OF VACANCY

 

Applications are being accepted for the following position:

 

DIRECTOR OF ARMY INSTRUCTION, JUNIOR RESERVE OFFICERS’ TRAINING CORPS (JROTC)

DEADLINE FOR ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS: Until Filled

 

QUALIFICATIONS:   The applicant must be interviewed

 and approved by U.S. Army Cadet Command.  Must be a

retired Army Commissioned Officer with the rank of

Lieutenant Colonel (0-5) or Colonel (0-6).  Must meet all

Cadet Command eligibility and qualification standards and be

Cadet Command certified as a JROTC Instructor.  Must

complete the JROTC Five-Step instructor training plan as

prescribed in paragraph 8-4, Cadet Command Regulation

145-2.  A baccalaureate degree is required with master’s

level preferred. Two years previous experience as a Senior

 Army Instructor is required. Must be Government Purchase

Card certified. And a Cadet Command Certified Interviewer

preferred, but not required.
