QUALIFICATIONS: 

CFC Certification required.  Wide and varied knowledge of the principles and practices applied in the installation, maintenance, and repair of all machinery, appliances, and utensils used in the preparation and storage of foods.  Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices applied in the safe and efficient use of tools, materials, and equipment of the trade.  Skill in detection, diagnosing, and repairing of defective appliances, with ability to make estimates of time and materials, and to work from sketches and blueprints.  One year of progressive experience in the appliance repair field; and must pass the required maintenance test.  Must have valid driver’s license.  Appropriate Commercial Driver’s License if required by law.
